The cleanliness and outdoor amenities were very disappointing. Despite a $200 cleaning fee, the outdoor area was filthy and unusable. The advertised grill became useless after about two minutes because the fuel ran out. The entire outdoor area is also exposed to rain and snow, with no overhead coverage—even the grill gets soaked. Host communication was extremely poor. They never responded to my emails, calls, questions, or concerns before or after the stay. Even basic information about the security deposit was vague, and I had to dig to find out that refunds can take up to 14 days. With an 11 AM checkout and 4 PM check-in, there is plenty of time to inspect the property, so the two-week delay makes little sense. Overall, poor cleanliness, a useless advertised grill, and refusal to communicate about basic issues are major red flags. This host checked every box.
